AGM - Indirect Procurement (IT, Marketing & Professional Services)

Role & responsibilities

• Develop and implement category strategies for indirect procurement categories within the assigned region, including but not limited to services, facilities management, IT, marketing, and travel.
• Conduct market analysis, supplier assessments, and benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities, process improvements, and supplier consolidation.
• Lead the sourcing process for indirect goods and services, including supplier identification, qualification, and selection.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to secure favorable agreements while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for indirect procurement, ensuring clear and enforceable terms, compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and alignment with business objectives.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize procurement spend within the region.
• Provide procurement expertise, guidance, and support to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with procurement policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to indirect procurement activities.

Preferred candidate profile

• Relevant certifications such as Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) or Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) ,
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to procurement in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong experience in procurement, with specific expertise in indirect procurement categories within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
• Strong knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, and contract management principles.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in contract drafting, review, and negotiation.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with ERP systems and procurement software.
