Role Description:
- This is a full-time on-site role for a Sales Team Lead located in Gurugram.
- The Sales Team Lead will be responsible for leading and motivating the sales team, setting sales targets, developing sales strategies, and ensuring the team meets and exceeds goals on a daily basis.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and mentor a team of sales professionals.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to help team members achieve their individual and team targets.
- Set ambitious yet attainable sales targets for the team and individual members.
- Develop strategies to ensure these targets are consistently met and exceeded.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- This includes identifying target markets, developing sales plans, and refining sales processes.
- Monitor individual and team performance, analyze sales data, and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide regular performance feedback to team members.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize the sales process to improve efficiency and conversion rates.
- Implement best practices and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Identify training and development needs for the sales team and implement appropriate programs to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Participate in the recruitment process for new sales team members and ensure effective onboarding and training.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients.
- Support the sales team in managing client interactions and resolving any issues.
- Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance updates for senior management.
- Collaborate effectively with other departments (marketing, product) to ensure alignment and achieve company objectives.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience in sales leadership and team management.
- Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Experience in the travel industry is a plus.
