Job Title Inside Sales Representative-ConsumablesKey Reponsibilities:
Meet and exceed sales targets, including total booked order value and associated margin.
Maintain sales pipeline and activity accurately in CRM tools.
Generate sales pipeline by meeting outbound sales activity targets including phone calls,
customer conversations, quote deliveries, and order conversions.
Provide quicker responses to customer inquiries, helping to resolve issues, and process orders
more efficiently.
Prospecting new customers, research potential clients in the laboratory space and initiate
contact to drive new sales.
Real-time Support for technical queries, product availability, etc. to offer immediate support
and solutions.
Account Management to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
Monitor orders, coordinate with logistics team for shipping to ensure timely delivery.
Work closely with leadership to develop growth strategies for assigned territory.
Work closely with marketing team to implement campaigns and promotions for consumables
Collaborate with technical teams to provide detailed product specifications or handle complex
inquiries.
Contact customers to follow up on leads generated through service and other channels.
Stay updated on developments in the lab consumables sector to anticipate customer needs.
Respond to customer inquiries and act as their point of contact for PerkinElmer.
Occasionally offer training to customers on the proper use of certain consumables, especially if
they require specific handling or use protocols.
Develop product knowledge to effectively grow portfolio within territory
Educational Qualification- Any graduate/postgraduate in science (Preferably Chemistry)
Minimum 3-8 years of inside sales experience
Effective time management and organization
Strong communication skills
