Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of projects and programs within the healthcare sector.
- Ensure alignment with organizational objectives, regulatory standards, and client expectations.
- Develop and oversee program roadmaps, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
- Proactively identify, assess, and manage program risks, issues, and dependencies, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
- Implement and manage service delivery frameworks to maintain high-quality support and operations for clients.
- Monitor adherence to service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in service delivery.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to align on service expectations and deliverables.
- Lead transformation initiatives focusing on operational excellence, digital adoption, and process optimization.
- Leverage emerging technologies such as AI, automation, and analytics to drive innovation in healthcare operations.
- Support the modernization of legacy systems and migration to advanced platforms.
- Act as the primary liaison for clients and key stakeholders, ensuring transparent and effective communication.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with healthcare providers, payers, and internal teams to align priorities and objectives.
- Work with business leaders to identify opportunities for new programs and service enhancements.
- Establish and manage governance frameworks to ensure accountability and compliance across projects and programs.
- Provide regular reports to leadership, highlighting program performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Track and analyze financial performance, resource utilization, and program outcomes.
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a high-performing team comprising project managers, service delivery managers, and transformation specialists.
- Define team roles and responsibilities to align with program and organizational goals.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Ensure all programs comply with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, HITECH, and CMS guidelines.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with program execution, service delivery, and compliance.
- Maintain strong data security, privacy, and governance processes throughout program operations.
Required Experience :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 15+ years of experience in program management, service delivery, or transformation initiatives within the US healthcare industry.
- Demonstrated success in managing large-scale, complex programs with multiple stakeholders.
- In-depth knowledge of the healthcare landscape, including payer, provider, and regulatory environments.
- Expertise in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall) and tools (MS Project, JIRA).
- Strong background in service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and operational excellence strategies.
- Familiarity with healthcare technologies such as EHR/EMR systems, revenue cycle management (RCM), and analytics platforms.
Preferred Skills :
- Industry certifications such as PMP, ITIL, Lean Six Sigma, or SAFe Agile.
- Knowledge of healthcare interoperability standards (e.g., HL7, FHIR).
