Executive/Sr.Executive-CS(Sales Support)

Role & responsibilities

• Processing inquiries received from Sales Team / Customers / Agents.
• Procuring / finalizing selling rates in consultation with Pricing.
• Preparing appropriate stuffing plan as per the received packing list with a view of providing

the best stuffing arrangements/cost (solution) and analyzing the target of shipper to close

the deal.

• Offering rates to Customers / Agents.
• Negotiating selling rates with Customers / Agents in order ensure business is confirmed to

us.

• Follow up on enquiries quoted to Customers / Agents.
• Follow up and push Marketing / Branches / Agent offices for more inquiries & market

coverage.

• Equipment allocation & planning as per requirement location wise.
• Converting inquiries to business.
• Coordination with various departments / locations / agents in order resolve issues & provide

timely updates to customers.

• Responsible for business from inquiry stage till containers empty returned by Consignee at

destination.

• Follow up with customers for outstanding recoveries (if any).
• Liaise with various departments in order facilitate seamless execution of every shipment.
• Generating Daily, Weekly and Monthly reports and submitting the same to HOD.

Preferred candidate profile

• A proven track record in driving Strong Performance of CS Sales Support.

• Candidate should have in-depth knowledge of Shipping Line, NVOCC, Freight Forwarding

products such as Sea Import and Exports, Project Cargo, ODC, Break Bulk., etc.

• Candidate should have experience of Liner / NVOCC CS & Pricing with knowledge / contacts

with Carriers / VOs.

• Candidate should be well versed and abreast with the latest Industry Trends which are

influencing the areas of Customer Service and Operational activities.

• Outstanding leadership skills, inspiring interpersonal effectiveness to lead the Team.

• Willing and able to be a doer” and “influencer”.

• Should be a team player willing to work as a Team.
