Sourcing Engineer

Roles:

▪ Identify the requirement of BU, project, client and organization in terms of sourcing the required project material within the project timeline.

▪ Analyse Demand and Supply gaps to ensure smooth processing of the business function. ▪ Vendor identification, analysis & recommendation. Effective Vendor Management, development and Maintaining Master Data of Suppliers.

▪ Evaluate quotes and negotiate to get the best price, shorten delivery / lead time, Control the freight. Evaluate the prices and the past performance of each and every contract and to approve price differences.

▪ Interfacing with the suppliers and regular follow up for timely delivery. Co-ordination with internal and external stakeholders for proper & timely supply / delivery of material required.

▪ Process set up for inspection of incoming, in process and outgoing components, quality related issue, counter measures to be taken, etc.

▪ Responsible for commercial contract, service agreements, renewals as per policy guidelines.

▪ Co-ordination with accounts for timely payments to Suppliers and service providers.

▪ New product development

▪ Co-ordination with Legal and HR for statutory compliance related to Labor for services.

▪ Ensuring timely completion of deliveries and works at site.

▪ Interaction with Finance department for budgeting, payment like LC, Advance payment of the Vendors. Interaction with logistics to make goods receipt etc.

▪ Establishing rate contracts with supplier for repeated requirements.

▪ Knowledge to import / export of material, High-sea sale agreements etc.

▪ Track and monitor the raw material prices (like copper, aluminium, silicon cells etc.)
