Purchase Manager

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials.
• Coordinate with vendors for material purchases, ensuring quality and compliance with project specifications.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure the best prices and delivery schedules.
• Utilize SAP for efficient procurement and inventory management.
• Maintain a strong understanding of MDF, plywood, laminate, and other materials used in civil and interior projects.
• Work closely with the project and design teams to ensure material availability and compliance with project timelines.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstocking.
• Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and industry standards.

Desired Candidate Profile

• 3-7 years of experience in procurement or related field (freshers can apply).
• Bachelor's degree in any specialization (e.g., B.A. Maths, B.Com, MBA, Btech).
• Strong skills in cost analysis, price negotiation, vendor development, and vendor selection.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
