Purchase and Supply chain Assistant (Solar)

Job Description

• Establish procurement strategies for the acquisition of materials
• Identification of supplier/vendor, rate negotiation, order finalization & issuance, and timely material delivery.
• Receiving and tracking of project materials that optimize quality, cost, and timely delivery criteria
• Prepare, maintain, and review purchasing files and records, price lists, and the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders; locate suppliers; approve bills for payment; monitor subcontractor performance; calculate the cost of orders; ensure invoices are charged to the appropriate accounts; and monitor inventory transfer forms for bookkeeping records.
• Develop plans for the effective organization and temporary storage of project materials and general inventories at various company and/or independent warehouse locations.
• Monitor and support returns, damage replacements, and warranty claims.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Solar Industry.
• Excellent communication and management skills to engage various stakeholders for optimal project delivery.
• Relevant Project Management experience in the Solar Industry including Ground Mounted Projects is a must.
• The candidate is required to be well-versed in all aspects of onsite Solar Projects execution.
