Job Summary:

We are looking for Life Science Graduates who are passionate about building a career in the healthcare industry as Medical Coder Trainees. The selected candidates will undergo training in medical coding practices, including ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS coding guidelines, and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Learn and apply ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding principles for healthcare claims processing.
• Review and analyze medical records, diagnoses, and procedures to assign appropriate codes.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with medical coding guidelines and industry regulations.
• Assist in auditing medical records for proper coding and documentation.
• Work closely with senior medical coders, quality analysts, and team leads.
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and other compliance requirements.
• Stay updated with coding guidelines, payer policies, and industry standards.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Education: Bachelor's or Masters degree in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Nursing, Pharmacy (B.Pharm/M.Pharm), or other healthcare-related fields.
• Freshers

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly.
• Basic knowledge of healthcare insurance and revenue cycle management is a plus.

Training & Certification:

• Selected candidates will receive comprehensive training in medical coding.
• Candidates will be encouraged to pursue certifications like CPC (Certified Professional Coder)
