Our client, a leader in the financial services sector, is seeking an experienced Events Project Manager to oversee a series of high-impact events, workshops, and international immersion programs. This is a Mumbai-based, on-site role, with a target start date of February 2025.

This independent will have the opportunity to work on high-profile projects and collaborate with prominent clients in the financial services and payments sector. The aim is to strengthen their client relationships, deliver tailored learning experiences, and streamline complex logistical operations. The independent will be measured by the seamless execution of events, positive client feedback, and the effective management of project timelines and deliverables.

What you will be doing: The Project Manager will take a lead role in organizing and delivering a range of client-focused events and programs. Key responsibilities include:

- Acting as the primary client liaison, ensuring clear and effective communication and strong relationship management.

- Planning and executing workshops, immersion programs, and large-scale events for clients.

- Managing event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, and travel arrangements.

- Organizing international workshops, ensuring smooth coordination of all logistical aspects.

- Designing and facilitating customized immersion programs tailored to client needs.

- Collaborating with internal teams, external vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

The ideal talent will bring:

- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Event Management, or a related field.

- At least 5 years of experience in project or event management (3 years with a Master's degree).

- Proven expertise in working with senior management and conducting workshops within the financial services or payments sector.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.

- Preferred qualifications include a PMP or CEM certification and experience managing international events. A proactive mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment are essential.

This is a contractual role with an initial duration of 12 months. This is an onsite role based site in Mumbai.
