Site Engineer - Karjat

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Engineer with a strong background in infrastructure works and the construction of row houses and buildings. The ideal candidate will possess solid engineering knowledge and experience, coupled with the ability to manage site activities efficiently and handle local liaison duties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Infrastructure Works: Manage and oversee infrastructure-related activities, including roads, utilities, drainage, and other foundational works.
• Construction of Row Houses and Buildings: Lead the engineering and construction aspects of row houses and buildings, ensuring compliance with architectural and engineering specifications.
• Local Liaison Duties: Act as a point of contact for local stakeholders, including government authorities, contractors, suppliers, and residents. Manage relationships effectively to address any concerns or issues related to the project.
• Project Decision-Making: Make informed decisions at the site level regarding day-to-day project tasks and operational issues, ensuring that these decisions do not impact the commercial or financial aspects of the project.
• Site Management: Supervise and coordinate site activities, ensuring that work progresses according to project timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Quality and Safety Assurance: Ensure that all work complies with local construction standards, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates on the project's progress, challenges, and achievements to senior management.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma or B.E Civil Engineering
• Minimum 10 years of experience in infrastructure and building construction, specifically with experience in row house and building construction.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and safety standards.
• Ability to make minor site-level decisions while aligning with the broader project objectives and commercial considerations.
• Experience in handling local coordination and interactions with municipal or governmental bodies is a plus.
