Director of Product Management, Okta ISV Ecosystem

We are looking for a driven, curious, and empathetic product management leader to push the envelope of Okta s market footprint by growing our ISV ecosystem. As Director of Product Management for Okta ISV Ecosystem, this manager will be responsible for product strategy, and managing a PM team dedicated to evolving the ISV touchpoints (digital properties, environments, app dev/test/submit/publish, API surface area) across the entirety of the partner s journey with Okta. • Own the growth of Okta s ISV ecosystem through product vision.
• Connect with key ISV partners and customers to distill down feature asks and pain points into true requirements that deliver broad customer value
• Develop roadmaps that make hard tradeoffs and prioritize the highest value work first
• Build compelling hypotheses and find ways to validate assumptions at low cost
• Collaborate with global cross-functional teams, including engineering, ISV program, tech partnerships, and marketing, to ensure the successful launch and adoption of ISV experience enhancements.
• Work with India-based development scrum teams (PM, UX, Dev) to deliver valuable new ISV targeted features and product improvements to customers.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify ISV partner needs, and use this information to inform strategic vision, innovation, product decisions, prioritization and roadmap.
• Define and communicate product requirements, including features, user experience, and technical specifications, to engineering teams.
• Leverage product data to continually get smarter about how to improve our existing products, and work across the business to drive adoption and success
• Track industry trends and think strategically to develop solutions that are differentiated from the competition
• Be the subject matter expert for your product area and help enable your counterparts in the ISV Program, Marketing, and tech partnerships teams.

• 8-10+ years of Product Management experience in enterprise scale SaaS products or comparable relevant experience.
• Experience building or product managing the user experience of a partner joining, engaging, and building upon a core enterprise software platform.
• Strong communication (presentation, verbal and written) and collaboration skills. You easily work with customers and colleagues across different functions and backgrounds.
• Demonstrated business results from products, features or capabilities you have shipped.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. You can produce solid action plans from often incomplete, conflicting or ambiguous inputs.
• Passion for Okta s huge opportunity and growth potential, and general thirst for learning with an ability to go broad and deep across business and technical contexts.

• Experience with creating requirements and driving multiple teams for ISV developer tooling, API footprint, partnerships, and/or adoption growth
• Experience with ISV marketplaces and/or ecosystems, self-service, and administration experiences to organically scale an ecosystem.
• Experience across the product management lifecycle for enterprise products or services, partner considerations surfaced in the user experience in particular
• Familiarity with Identity and Access management protocols and products
• BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience that allows you to rationalize and influence technical design decisions.
• Advanced degree in technical or business field, MBA helpful.
