Solution Architect - Google Cloud Platform (5-8 yrs)

JOB TITLE: Solution Architect, APAC.

(Candidate should be from Mumbai & this is a work from home opportunity, but candidate need to come to Thane office as an when required).

DEPARTMENT: IT.

REPORTS TO: Regional IT Director, APAC.

ROLE OVERVIEW.

The Regional Solution Architect is responsible for implementing the architecture strategy at the regional level, following the Enterprise Architectural plan.

This role ensures that proposed and existing solution designs align with global Enterprise Architecture and acts as the regional focal point for global Enterprise Architects and the global solution architecture community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Implement IT architectural standards within the region.

- Build and maintain the regional IT Roadmap based on business requirements.

- Analyze the application portfolio to develop and communicate investment plans.

- Liaise with Enterprise Architecture to build the target end-to-end system architecture.

- Ensure solution designs align with global Enterprise Architecture.

- Conduct research on emerging technologies and recommend improvements.

- Document and update the existing solutions and technology portfolio.

- Coach senior leaders on current solutions architecture and future plans.

- Present solutions from a functional/business perspective to customers.

QUALIFICATIONS :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

- 5-8 years of experience in IT applications, with at least 2 years in solution architecture.

- Strong communication skills to explain technical programs.

- Knowledge of business applications and detail oriented.

- Experience in an international environment and understanding of complex organizations.
