Purchase Executive

Role & responsibilities

The Purchase executive will be responsible for procuring chemical intermediate, speciality chemicals, candidate Should have extensive experience in supplier management, contract negotiations, and maintaining excellent relationships with manufacturers/ Trader/ Distributer.

This role requires a proactive, strategic thinker who ensures timely procurement at optimal prices while adhering to regulatory and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement effective procurement strategies for chemical intermediate, speciality chemicals, ensuring timely availability and competitive pricing.
  
• Vendor Sourcing & Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish strong relationships with Chemical manufacturers/ Trader/ Distributer ensuring they meet company quality and regulatory standards.
  
• Negotiate terms and pricing to secure the best possible deals.
  
• Negotiation & Contract Management: Lead negotiations on pricing, delivery terms, and contracts with manufacturers. Ensure all contractual obligations are met and maintained.
  
• Market Analysis: Continuously monitor market trends, pricing shifts, and competitor activities to make informed purchasing decisions and maintain a competitive edge.
  
• Vendor Development & other: Responsible for making PO, PR and New Vendor.
  
• Reporting: Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, cost-saving initiatives, and supplier performance

Preferred candidate profile

• Minimum bachelors degree in chemical.
  
• Minimum 3 years of experience in specifically dealing with Speciality Chemicals.
  
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with manufacturers and suppliers.
  
• Should have knowledge of Ms. Excel, Ms. Power point & Ms. Word.
  

Excellent written and verbal communication skills for interacting with suppliers and internal teams.
