Experience: Minimum of 8-12 years of experience in accounting or finance in Real estate industry

Job Description:

• Support the development of divisional business plans and budgets to align with corporate objectives. Collaborate with business heads to assess risks, opportunities, and strategic options.
• Oversee the divisions financial accounting processes to ensure accuracy and timely presentation. Provide financial insights for business reviews and decision-making.
• Prepare and provide financial data for board meetings and AGMs, ensuring accurate representation of divisional business and financial statements.
• Manage budgeted resources effectively by forecasting expenditures, optimizing costs, and ensuring fiscal responsibility.
• Implement and monitor financial systems, policies, and budget controls to ensure adherence to accounting standards and operational efficiency.
• Coordinate with auditors and oversee the preparation of annual financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for top management to support strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with internal teams for account consolidation, reconciliation, balance sheet preparation, and finalization of accounts.
• Maintain accounting policies, procedures, and authority matrix while ensuring company-wide compliance.
• Monitor adherence to legal and statutory obligations, representing the company in accounting-related scrutiny and disputes before relevant authorities.
• Implement process improvements, automation, and best practices in accounting systems to align with legal requirements and stakeholder expectations. Maintain secure and structured record-keeping as per accounting laws for future reference.
• Responsible for the Annual Cost Audit to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Prepare and present monthly MIS reports to provide insights into financial performance and key metrics
