Key Responsibilities
Funding Requirements
- Assess, strategize, and meet the organization's funding needs.
- Liaise with lenders and bankers for loan approvals and facility creation.
- Manage documentation, sanctions, disbursements, and covenant tracking.
- Create and finalize financial models for funding.
- Negotiate terms with lenders, lawyers, and rating agencies.
Mergers, Demergers, and Restructuring
- Review the organizational structure to identify opportunities for mergers and demergers.
- Implement restructuring plans in coordination with legal and financial teams.
- Treasury and Banking Relations
- Oversee day-to-day banking and treasury functions.
- Negotiate better terms for interest rates, charges, and fund management efficiency.
- Manage the opening of bank accounts, security arrangements, and loan compliance.
Compliance and Documentation
- Ensure all funding and borrowing-related activities comply with legal and regulatory standards.
- Prepare and submit required MIS reports to lenders and management.
- Monitor and ensure timely servicing of loans, including interest and principal repayments.
External and Internal Coordination
- Collaborate with trustees, rating agencies, sub-registrars, and other external stakeholders.
- Work closely with internal teams such as legal, corporate finance, HR, and secretarial teams to complete tasks efficiently.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Timeliness and accuracy of financial models, proposals, and documentation.
- Effectiveness in negotiating better interest rates and terms.
- Compliance with covenants, loan servicing schedules, and regulatory requirements.
- Quality and punctuality of MIS submissions to lenders and internal stakeholders.
- Efficiency in handling mergers, demergers, and restructuring activities.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Educational Background: Chartered Accountant (CA) or Cost Accountant (ICWA).
Experience:
- 10+ years in fund-raising, treasury, banking relations, business strategy, and MIS.
- Strong expertise in Excel, Word, and financial analysis.
