Biomedical Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, plan and release Biomedical Data Analytics for Health Mobile Apps from its data and requirement analysis, beta releases and through the final version release.
• Apply knowledge of engineering, biology, and bio mechanical principles to the design, development, and evaluation of biological and health systems and products, such as instrumentation, medical information systems, and health management and care delivery systems.
• Analyse and design solutions to problems, with the goal of improving the quality and effectiveness.
• Analysis of technical and health, biomedical data in a long- term basis.
• Determine developments of proper applications, technologies, updates, upgrades, troubleshooting, technical team support and technical collaboration with the IT Engineers involved in rapid development of our innovative set of technologies.
• Design and develop diagnostic and clinical instrumentation, equipment, and procedures.
• Conduct research, analyse health data as well as therapeutic data analysis, recommend technological advancements utilizing appropriate technology, equipment's and biomedical principals to achieve goals and forecast outcomes based on the analysis.

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience working in a manufacturing or prototype line in a cleanroom environment in medical device, pharmaceutical or semiconductor industry
• Direct experience in DRM/DFSS processes, Six Sigma certification or equivalent
• Experience with statistical data analysis software (Ex. Minitab, JMP, etc.)
• Good knowledge of standard statistical tests (T-test, ANOVA and significance testing at a minimum)
• Proficient with Microsoft office suite.
• Experience in programming with MATLAB and/or Python
• Performed R&R studies, demonstrating process capability (Ppk & Cpk), and Qualification procedures (IQ/OQ/PQ)
• Exposure to Design for Reliability and Manufacturability (DRM) principles and/or process and performance improvement tools such as Lean and/or Six Sigma
• Experience with technical documentation (Work Instructions, laboratory notebooks, publications, engineering reports, change requests, IQ/OQ/PQs, Standard Operating Procedures, test protocols, BOMs, DHFs etc.)
• Prior project management experience
• Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks & projects and work independently & within a team-based environment
