IT Head - Infra & Digital Transformation
Job Description:
- Design and implement IT strategies and infrastructure.
- Analyze business requirements for IT needs and systems.
- Gather/document functional requirements and translate functional needs into technical solutions.
- Ensuring the adoption of new solutions with a sharp focus on user experience, standardization, and scalability.
- Drive process improvement and transformation projects to support the simplification of processes and improvement in operational efficiencies of the paper production units.
- Leverage automation for process improvements and driving cost efficiencies.
- Statutory & Internal Audit Data Preparation as per requirement.
- Assess IT Infrastructural requirements in line with IT strategy.
- Ensure planning, design, and deployment of infrastructure requirements.
- Monitor procurement, installation, and implementation of resources.
- Performance Monitoring and Maintenance Troubleshooting of servers, desktops & printers.
- Maintain IT-Asset inventory and IT policies.
- Design, plan, augment & Implement Networking resources for LAN, and WAN across all locations.
- Understand business processes.
- Identify & evaluate business application requirements along with business and digital team.
- Manage procurement, vendor selection & relationship management, ordering, implementation and annual maintenance contract with vendors.
- Management and support.
- Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential IT risks and vulnerabilities.
- Develop and implement risk mitigation plans to address identified risks.
- Ensure robust data security measures are in place to protect sensitive information.
- Establish and maintain an incident response plan to quickly address any IT security breaches.
- Implement reliable backup and recovery solutions to protect against data loss.
- Network design, Active Directory and Group policies, SAP Platform, backup solutions.
- Design, review, and evaluate relevant tools and technologies.
- Manage vendors.
- Manage license compliance.
- Implement general IT controls.
- Ensure support for IT / SAP / Business Applications.
- Manage IT disaster recovery and business continuity.
- Creating and overseeing the annual IT budget. This involves approving costs, reviewing contracts, and monitoring the department's expenditures.
- Hire, train, and motivate team members.
- Identification of training needs &encourage participation of each team member.
- Ensure team gets required technical training to perform their jobs.
- Conduct performance appraisals for the team.
- Ensure readiness of identified successors for key roles.
