Role Overview & Ownership Areas:
Company is on an ambitious path to transition from a primarily physical business to a fully digital enterprise. As the Enterprise Architect within the Digital Transformation Office, you will be pivotal in shaping the architectural vision and guiding Company through its digital journey. This role involves defining and implementing enterprise-level architectural frameworks, establishing architecture principles, and overseeing the decommissioning or transformation of legacy systems. You will also lead initiatives in data migration, security, privacy, and regulatory compliance, while developing proof-of-concept solutions and making critical architecture decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
Enterprise Architecture and Strategy:
- Define and implement Company's enterprise architecture, establishing frameworks, principles, and standards that support digital transformation objectives.
- Develop and communicate a strategic roadmap for application modernization, ensuring alignment with business goals and future-ready technology standards.
- Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to ensure architecture strategy is aligned with organizational needs and compliance requirements.
Legacy Modernization and Data Migration:
- Lead the decommissioning or transformation of legacy applications, ensuring minimal disruption to operations and adherence to best practices for modernization.
- Oversee data migration initiatives, ensuring secure, compliant, and efficient transfer of data between legacy and new systems.
- Develop guidelines for data management, security, and privacy that align with industry regulations and Company's data governance framework.
Security, Privacy, and Regulatory Compliance:
- Design and implement security and privacy architecture, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory standards, including data protection and cybersecurity.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks in the architecture, ensuring robust security measures are embedded into all digital transformation projects.
- Provide guidance on regulatory requirements specific to BFSI and Fintech, ensuring that company's architecture supports compliance with these frameworks.
Architecture Design and Solution Development:
- Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, assessing their applicability to company's digital transformation initiatives.
- Lead the development of proof-of-concept solutions, testing new technologies, and architectural approaches before full-scale implementation.
- Make architecture and solution decisions for digital projects, guiding development teams in the design and implementation of scalable, reliable, and secure solutions.
Stakeholder Collaboration and Guidance:
- Act as a trusted advisor to both business and IT teams, providing technical leadership and guidance on architectural best practices.
- Engage with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, translating them into technical specifications and architectural blueprints.
- Mentor and guide technical teams in architecture principles, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within the organization.
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS/GCP Certified Solutions Architect) are preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture, with a focus on legacy modernization, data migration, and digital transformation.
- Proven experience in the BFSI or Fintech sectors, with a strong understanding of regulatory environments and compliance requirements.
- Polyglot with proficiency in multiple programming languages and a strong understanding of modern architecture frameworks and cloud technologies.
- Hands-on experience in security, privacy, and data governance in highly regulated environments.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to manage complexity and work with diverse teams.
- Experience in data architecture and hands-on experience in AI/ML
