Manager /Sr. MAnager- PAyroll


Position Overview:


We are seeking a skilled and experienced Payroll, Compensation and Benefits Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring competitive and equitable compensation structures, developing benefits programs, and fostering employee satisfaction while aligning with the company's business goals and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Payroll Process:

- To ensure to smooth process of inhouse payroll for 1200+ employees.

- To manager payroll process for 1000+ outsourced employees.

- Keep upto dated HRMS (ZingHR) for all the compliance according to the labour laws and statutory body.

- Ensure to provide all the salary related reports to accounts on time.

- Ensure to timely process of all employees' reimbursements.

2. Compensation Strategy & Analysis:

- Design and implement competitive compensation structures based on market trends, company strategy, and financial considerations.

- Conduct salary benchmarking, job evaluations, and compensation analysis to maintain internal equity and market competitiveness.

- Develop incentive and bonus programs to drive employee performance and retention.

3. Benefits Administration:

- Oversee the development, implementation, and administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and wellness initiatives.

- Evaluate current benefit offerings and recommend enhancements to meet employee needs while managing costs effectively.

- Liaise with external vendors and negotiate contracts to ensure high-quality and cost-effective benefits.

4. Compliance & Reporting:

- Ensure compliance with applicable labour laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements related to compensation and benefits.

- Prepare and present periodic reports on compensation and benefits metrics, costs, and trends.

- Conduct audits to ensure accurate benefits administration and adherence to policies.

5. Insurance

- Should be familiar with GMC, GPA & WC policies.

- Should get competitive quote for renewal.

- Should conduct awareness session with employees for the policies.

- Should handle employee queries for the claim process.

6. Employee Communication & Support:

- Develop and communicate clear policies and guidelines regarding compensation and benefits programs.

- Act as a subject matter expert, addressing employee queries and concerns related to pay, benefits, and rewards.

- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate employees on available benefits and compensation practices.

7. Collaboration & Leadership:

- Partner with HR and leadership teams to align compensation and benefits strategies with overall business objectives.

- Manage and mentor a team of professionals, ensuring their growth and alignment with departmental goals.

- Participate in organizational planning initiatives to forecast budget requirements and workforce needs.

8. Operations:

- Should be familiar with the following audits, Internal, External (Statutory), PF & ESIC.

- Ensure to provide all the required data on time for Audits.

- Ensure to conduct audit for employee data, statutory compliance for Branch office and Factories.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

- Attention to Detail: Ensures accuracy in payroll and compliance activities.

- Analytical Skills: Interprets data for decision-making and process improvement.

- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with stakeholders.

- Problem-Solving: Addresses operational challenges proactively.

- Strong command of payroll systems, with hands-on experience in ZingHR or similar HRMS platforms.

- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and payroll software.

Qualification & Expriences:

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree or certification in compensation/benefits preferred).

- Proven experience in compensation and benefits management, with a minimum of 5-7 years in a similar role with total experience of 15-20 years.

- In-depth knowledge of labor laws, tax regulations, and market compensation trends.

- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

- Proficiency in HRIS and compensation tools.

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities.
