Key Responsibilities:
1. Multi-Brand Strategy & Development
- Develop and execute brand strategies to strengthen brand positioning, awareness, and equity.
- Lead product launches and brand campaigns, designing initiatives that resonate with target audiences.
- Conduct market research, consumer insights analysis, and competitive benchmarking to identify opportunities, threats, and areas for refinement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Digital, R&D and Product Development) to align brand strategy and product innovations.
2. Marketing Campaigns - Design & Execution
- Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns, encompassing creative, ATL, and media strategies, with support from an in-house agency and content team.
- Ensure that media execution aligns with brand growth goals, enhancing brand presence across channels.
- Oversee agency partnerships and manage creative and media vendors to develop compelling, on-brand marketing assets.
3. Consumer, Market & Brand Research
- Conduct thorough research across consumer, market, and competitor landscapes using robust tools (e.g., Kantar, Nielsen).
- Track brand efficacy through brand health studies, enabling insights-driven strategy adjustments.
- Utilize research findings to inform brand positioning, identify opportunities, and drive targeted initiatives.
4. Trade Marketing
- Design and implement trade marketing strategies tailored to key channels, such as supermarkets, pharmacies, and independent retailers.
- Manage trade promotions and in-store materials to enhance visibility and consumer engagement at the point of sale.
- Align with sales teams to address channel-specific needs, ensuring synergy between trade marketing and sales objectives.
5. Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including board members, internal teams (sales, finance, and operations), and external partners.
- Deliver strategic communication across all levels to ensure alignment and seamless execution of brand initiatives.
6. New Product Development (NPD) & Launches
- Spearhead the ideation and execution of NPD initiatives, coordinating cross-functionally.
- Position new products strategically to meet consumer needs and support brand vision, driving differentiation in the marketplace.
7. Budget Management
- Prepare and manage brand and trade marketing budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.
- Track spending and ROI on all initiatives to maximize cost efficiency and marketing impact.
8. Data Analytics & Reporting
- Analyze key brand performance metrics, including market share, consumer feedback, and competitor activity.
- Provide regular reports on brand health, campaign outcomes, and trade marketing effectiveness, supplying insights for strategic decisions.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 7+ years in brand management and trade marketing, ideally in FMCG,OTC or hygiene sectors.
- Skills: Excellent analytical skills, stakeholder management, communication, and a strong command of campaign management and ROI analysis.
