Deputy Manager - Taxation

Role & responsibilities

1. Statutory Compliance:

a. Manage compliances with TDS, GST, Profession tax, Companies Act, RERA, Income Tax Laws in consultation with Manager.

b. Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations and ensure the organization adapts accordingly

c. Verification of Data entry with regards to classification and compliance with the applicable taxation Laws.

2. Tax Planning and Strategy:

a. Develop tax-efficient strategies to minimize the organization's tax liabilities.

b. Provide guidance on financial decisions, investments, and transactions to optimize tax outcomes.

c. Conduct tax research and analysis to support strategic business initiatives.

d. Ensuring verification and testing of implemented SOPs.

3. Financial Reporting and Analysis:

a. Work with the manager to ensure timely MIS reports.

b. Cash flow Statement.

c. Assist in preparing financial statements and disclosures related to taxes.

d. Analyze financial data to ensure accurate reporting of tax liabilities.

4. Cross-functional Collaboration:

a. Work closely with finance, accounting, legal, and other departments to integrate tax considerations into business decisions.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Semi Qualified CA / M. Com/ BAF/B. Com

2. Minimum of 2 to 6 years of experience

3. Tally ERP, MS Office

4. Excellent Communication

5. Analytical skills

Well-versed with the latest updates of Direct and Indirect TAX Laws.
