Neysa.ai - DevOps/System Administrator - IT Infrastructure (4-8 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Infrastructure Management : Oversee and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, ensuring reliable operations of servers, storage systems, and networking components.

- Performance Monitoring & Optimization : Continuously monitor system performance, network traffic, and resource usage, optimizing infrastructure to ensure peak performance and efficiency.

- Incident & Problem Resolution : Quickly respond to and troubleshoot system outages, network issues, and other IT-related challenges to minimize downtime and disruption.

- Backup & Disaster Recovery : Manage backup strategies and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity, availability, and business continuity in case of system failures.

- System Configuration & Updates : Apply patches, updates, and upgrades to operating systems, servers, and network devices, ensuring systems are always up-to-date and secure.

- Documentation & Reporting : Maintain detailed documentation for infrastructure configuration, security policies, system performance, and incident resolution

Must-have skills :

- System Administration : 4-8 years of experience in system administration, managing Linux/Unix based systems in production environments.

- DevOps Practices : Experience with automation tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for infrastructure as code and continuous configuration management.

- Scripting & Automation : Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.) for automating system tasks, provisioning, and configuration management.

- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Proven experience in designing, implementing, and testing backup and disaster recovery plans for mission-critical systems.

Good to have skills :

- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration technologies to support scalable and efficient infrastructure.

- Expertise in virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) for server consolidation, load balancing, and fault tolerance.

- Understanding of AI and machine learning environments, and how they interact with IT infrastructure, especially in terms of GPU-powered compute resources (like those used in Neysa Velocis).

Technical Skills :

- Operating Systems : Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu)

- DevOps : Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform

- Scripting : Python, Bash, PowerShell

- Monitoring Tools : Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, CloudWatch, Grafana

- Database Support : Basic knowledge of databases (SQL/NoSQL) and their integration with server infrastructure

- Backup & Recovery : Veeam, Bacula, Cloud backups (S3, Glacier, etc.)

- Containerization : Docker, Kubernetes

- Networking : TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNs
