Nestaway - Business Head (5-8 yrs)

The City Head will be responsible for scaling our business in Bangalore city.

This includes overseeing operations, marketing, sales, and team management to ensure the successful launch and sustainable growth of the business.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough market research to identify high-demand rental locations in Bangalore.

- Secure rental properties by building strong relationships with property owners, landlords, and real estate agents.

- Negotiate and finalize lease agreements, ensuring compliance with all local regulations.

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of rental properties, including maintenance, security, and tenant services.

- Ensure smooth functioning of properties, addressing operational challenges to maintain a high standard of living for tenants.

- Hire, train, and lead a local team across functions like sales, operations, and customer service.

- Set clear performance goals and KPIs, and provide continuous feedback to ensure team performance aligns with business objectives.

- Foster a positive, customer-focused work culture and promote team collaboration.

- Develop and implement strategies to increase property occupancy and revenue.

- Continuously analyze market trends, competitors, and customer demands to refine growth strategies.

- Identify and capitalize on opportunities to expand the rental management portfolio in Bangalore.

- Work with the marketing team to execute local campaigns for attracting tenants to rental properties.

- Handle tenant concerns, disputes, and feedback, ensuring quick resolutions and maintaining high satisfaction levels.

- Manage the budget for Bangalore's operations, ensuring profitability and efficient cost management.

- Monitor financial performance, track rent collections, and optimize revenue generation.

- Maintain strong relationships with property owners, landlords, and real estate professionals.

- Ensure that all rental properties meet legal, safety, and regulatory standards in Bangalore.

- Oversee lease renewals, rental agreements, and any legal compliance issues related to rental management.

Requirements:.

- Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in business development, operations, or a related field in real estate.

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Real Estate, Hospitality, or a related field.

- MBA preferred.
