Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Responsibilities & duties:

  • Research, track, maintain and update leads.
  • Conduct outreach to prospective clients via email, phone calls, and social media platforms like LinkedIn.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create effective sales campaigns and strategies.
  • Explore the database provider platforms to extract the relevant contact information.
  • Research and maintain lead generation database.
  • Conduct customer research or market surveys to obtain information about potential leads.
  • Provide accurate and timely information/work reports to the Manager.
  • Develop a strong knowledge of the companys products and services in order to facilitate the sales process.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor activities and market changes to identify new opportunities.
  • Should be able to achieve assigned lead and revenue generation targets.  

Skills required:

  • Possesses strong communication & presentation skills to effectively engage with clients, stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Experience with LinkedIn outreach, cold calling and personalized emailing.
  • Should have a good understanding of LinkedIn and Sales Navigator to qualify potential accounts and prospects.
  • More than a year's experience in selling IT/technology services in the USA, with a good understanding of domains such as Cybersecurity, AI, Public Safety, Healthcare, & Hi-Tech etc is preferred.
  • Experience with research and maintaining databases.
  • Proficient in creating Sales Projection Reports and target accounts profiling.
  • Familiar working with tools such as Sales Navigator, Apollo, Zoho and other CRMs. 
  • Experience working with North American companies (highly preferred).

Qualifications/ experience required:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing or related field is preferred.
  • 1 to 4 years experience in US IT Sales.
