Database Administrator - IBM DB2 (4-6 yrs)

Roles & Responsibilities :

- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.

- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.

- Contribute in providing solutions to work-related problems.

- Provide ongoing support to clients, addressing their technical issues and concerns.

- Troubleshoot system or application problems and identify root causes.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.

- Ensure the smooth functioning of the system or application by monitoring performance and identifying areas for improvement.

- Document and maintain accurate records of client interactions and issue resolutions.

- Professional & Technical Skills:

Must To Have Skills :

- Proficiency in IBM DB2 Database Administration.

- Good To Have Skills : Experience with SQL Server or Oracle Database Administration.

- Strong understanding of database management principles and best practices.

- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of database systems.

- Knowledge of backup and recovery procedures for database systems.

- Familiarity with database security and access control.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Additional Information :

- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in IBM DB2 Database Administration.

- A 15 years full-time education is required."
