JOB PURPOSE.

To assist in the development of Fire Risk Management System in the organisation as well as manage the provision of fire-fighting skills in order to achieve a work environment free of injuries..

To develop new Fire protection systems coming in projects / MOC..

Upkeep of various Fire Fighting Systems & Equipments, Training the employees / contract workmen / Security , Community Awareness ,.

Legal compliances as per applicable standards..

QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM.

Inspection, testing & maintenance (ITM) of fire protection systems.

Prepare ITM schedule.

Ensure testing of Fire protection system as per schedule.

Prepare ITM report & submit to concern dept for necessary action..

New projects.

Prepare action plan.

Approvals, PR, PO, inspection.

Execution monitoring & commissioning.

Budget & Procurement.

Prepare OPEX & CAPEX budget as per 5 years ABP.

Approvals, PR, Inspections & receipt of materials.

CRF / ARF for AMC/ARC contracts.

Monthly monitoring of Budget.

DPI execution & MOC review.

Create DPI for Capex items.

Take required actions for procurement of Capex items.

Review MOC of fire protection systems,.

BE-Fire from NFSC, Nagpur + 4 yrs of experience.

Or.

BE-Fire from any other approved institute + 6 yrs of experience.

Or.

Grad-I (IFE India or UK) OR BSC Fire with 8 years Post Qualification Experience in Refinery or Equivalent.

Additional desirable Post Graduate / Post Diploma in Industrial Safety, Understanding of Management system (QMS, EMS & OHSMS).

Valid Heavy Vehicle License.

Age not more than 45 yrs..

Relevant (Functional/Level) & Total Years of Experience:.

BE-Fire from NFSC, Nagpur + 4 yrs of experience.

Or.

BE-Fire from any other approved institute + 6 yrs of experience.

Or.

Grad-I (IFE India or UK) OR BSC Fire with 8 years Post Qualification Experience in Refinery or Equivalent.

Functional Skills:.

Excellent knowledge of statutory regulationsFactories Act/ Petroleum Rules/SMPV Rules/ OISD Standards/ Other Major Safety related codes and standards-such as API/NFPA etc..

Have adequate Technical knowledge of fire Vehicles & Fire protection system.

Should have ability to perform maintenance of fire protection systems/ equipment.

He should possess valid HMV license.

Should have a knowledge of Product/Service, quality parameters, environment, Safety and Energy Management..

Shall have knowledge of SAP PM & MM.

Shall have knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001.

Behavioural Skills:.

Strong oral and written communication skills along with good presentation skill,.
