Engineer - Fire

Role Summary:

The individual will be the part of UK Building Specialists team in India, and will be responsible for carrying the detailed design work with the UK team.

Responsibilities:

• Use computer modelling to predict how fires start and spread
• make recommendations about building design and materials to prevent fires starting and spreading
• give advice on fire safety systems and procedures like sprinklers and emergency exits
• provide support on approval by local authorities, construction professionals and architects about fire safety
• keep up to date with new fire regulations and laws
• provide support on technical specification for equipment, buildings and materials to make sure they are safe
• write fire strategy reports, technical notes, technical emails
• review drawings and provide markups and annotations as necessary.
