Job Title: Process Engineer - Flow Chemistry - R&D
Location: Shadnagar, NACL R&D Center

Education Qualification:

• Chemical Engineering, Process Technology, or Petrochemical Engineering.

Work Experience:

• 3 to 6 years of industrial experience.

Industry Preference:

• Agrochemicals, Fine Chemicals, Pharma-API, or Specialty Chemicals.

Position Purpose:

• Expertise in process engineering, technology transfer, and preparation of R&D documents, including process flow and material movement planning.
• Hands-on experience with advanced manufacturing technologies and equipment in API, chemical, and specialty industries.
• Knowledge of processes like fluorine chemistry, hydrogenation, nitration, chlorination, oxidation, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct R&D trials, process development, optimization, and technology transfer.
• Perform feasibility studies, scale-up processes, and drive demo-commissioning.
• Convert R&D data into technical packages, including PFDs, P&IDs, mass and energy balances.
• Prepare engineering standards, project budgets, and execute technology transfer.
• Actively participate in HAZOP studies, risk assessments, and PSSRs.

Required Skills:

• Process design and detailed engineering, including BFDs, PFDs, and P&IDs.
• Mass and energy balance calculations, equipment sizing, and specification preparation.
• Proficiency in HTRI, HYSYS, PLC, and SCADA systems.
• Knowledge of valves, line sizing, pump hydraulics, and pressure drop calculations.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols like HAZOP and risk assessments.
