Job Title: Data Analytics COE Lead
Reports To: CIO, NACL Industries Ltd.

As part of our digital transformation initiative, we are establishing a Data Quality Centre of Excellence (COE) to drive process improvements and adopt best practices. The Data Analytics COE Lead will spearhead an enterprise-wide Data and Analytics program, enabling data-driven decision-making and unlocking significant value for the organization.

Responsibilities

• Build consultative relationships with key stakeholders to understand and address business intelligence (BI) requirements, aligning with organizational goals and compliance standards.
• Translate business needs into actionable insights through reports, dashboards, and data models.
• Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making and promote the adoption of analytical tools across teams.
• Deliver first drafts of solutions, including data queries, KPIs, quality checks, and actionable recommendations with minimal guidance.
• Manage project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables using Agile methodologies.
• Design and implement solutions leveraging platforms such as Azure, Databricks, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Data Lakehouse architectures, focusing on Data Quality, Metadata, and Data Governance.
• Develop and deploy scalable and efficient solutions using Power BI and related technologies.

Qualifications

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering (B.Tech) and an MBA from a Tier-2 institute.

Experience:

• 6-8 years of experience in the Chemical, Pharma, or FMCG sectors.

Skills:

• Deep understanding of Business KPIs and Balanced Scorecards.
• 3-5 years of advanced Power BI expertise, including DAX, formula creation, Power Automate, and Copilot functionalities.
• Proficiency in SQL, performance tuning, and data modeling.
• Excellent communication skills in English and a collaborative working style.
• A proactive, growth-oriented mindset with a passion for innovation.
