Process Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

1. Process Feasibility & Optimization in R&D:
   
• Collaborate with R&D teams to evaluate process feasibility and identify scalable and cost-effective solutions.
• Optimize processes focusing on quality, yield, and scalability while addressing critical aspects using PAT tools like FTIR, FBRM, and PVM.

1. Scale-Up and Technology Transfer:
• Design and execute scale-up studies to ensure seamless transition from R&D to manufacturing.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including process flow diagrams, equipment specifications, MSDS, validation protocols, and reports.
• Conduct FMEA and risk assessments to support process robustness and compliance.

1. Plant Execution & Monitoring:
   
• Ensure plant readiness for batch execution by coordinating with cross-functional teams (CFTs) including production, QA, QC, and SCM.
• Monitor and troubleshoot batch execution to ensure CGMP compliance and safety.
• Support kilo-lab and pilot plant scale-up activities, ensuring alignment with project timelines and objectives.

1. Process Safety & Compliance:
• Identify process hazards and implement safety measures to ensure safe handling of materials and processes.
• Perform safety audits, propose equipment modifications, and manage detoxification processes for hazardous reagents.

1. Continuous Improvement & Knowledge Sharing:
   
• Lead initiatives to enhance process efficiency and reduce costs through continuous improvement programs (CIP).
• Provide technical training and share best practices with team members to ensure consistent process excellence.

1. Post-Execution & Reporting:
   
• Prepare detailed campaign reports, cost analyses, and project closure presentations.
• Document learnings and improvements for future project execution.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

• Educational Qualification: B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
• In-depth knowledge of process scale-up, technology transfer, and GMP compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills in plant operations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams
