Job Description :

We are looking for a dynamic and skilled ServiceNow Configuration Management (ITOM) Specialist to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and improving our ITOM practices, primarily focusing on the configuration management database (CMDB) and automation of IT operations.

Required Skills :

- 3-4 years of experience in ServiceNow ITOM, particularly in configuration management.

- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and Event Management functionalities.

- Strong knowledge of ITOM principles and methodologies, including asset discovery, CMDB management, and automation.

- Familiarity with multi-cloud environments and the discovery of both IT and OT assets.

- Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to drive resolution for operational issues.

- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

- Experience in developing and deploying automation workflows and scripts to streamline processes.

Key Responsibilities :

- Assist in the development and implementation of standard IT configuration management methodologies through the adoption of ITOM best practices.

- Support the Configuration Manager in conducting configuration audits and reconciliation activities.

- Maintain and manage Configuration Items (CIs) to ensure CMDB accuracy and completeness.

- Proactively monitor and identify unauthorized CI changes or alterations in the environment.

- Collaborate with other ITSM (IT Service Management) processes to understand emerging requirements and determine how configuration management can effectively support them.

- Provide administration and support for configuration and asset management tools, including ServiceNow Discovery and additional assigned modules/applications.

- Develop and implement automation scripts and orchestration workflows to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual processes.

- Work closely with other ITSM teams to integrate ITOM practices with the CMDB.

- Possess in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping tools.

- Contribute to the development and enhancement of ITOM implementations at ABI.

- Lead the deployment and configuration of Event Management functionalities in ServiceNow.
