Job Profile :

We are looking for a highly experienced and skilled Performance Test Lead to join our clients team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for leading performance testing initiatives, ensuring the performance and scalability of systems, and driving the execution of performance testing activities across projects. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in performance test scripting using LoadRunner, strong analytical skills, leadership capabilities, and proficiency in SQL and programming.

Key Responsibilities :

- Lead Performance Testing Initiatives: Oversee and lead a team of performance test analysts, ensuring high-quality execution of performance testing activities, and providing guidance/mentorship to junior team members.

- Performance Test Scripting: Create and execute performance test scripts using LoadRunner (HP Performance Center) for common protocols such as HTTP, Web Services, and others.

Test Plans and Reports: Elicit requirements from stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs), develop performance test plans, and produce comprehensive reports summarizing test results, bottlenecks, and recommendations.

- Performance Analysis: Analyze performance test results and related metrics to identify performance bottlenecks, system weaknesses, and areas for optimization. Provide detailed recommendations and conduct root cause analysis of performance issues.

- Monitoring Solutions: Implement monitoring solutions for key components such as servers, databases, and other infrastructure to track and assess system behavior during performance testing.

- Test Data Management: Analyze data requirements for performance testing, develop strategies for test data provisioning, and ensure sufficient test data is available to meet performance testing needs.

- Load Profiles & Test Scenarios: Develop load profiles and create detailed performance test scenarios based on requirements outlined in the performance test plan.

Collaboration with SMEs: Work closely with project SMEs to aid in performance tuning, defect resolution, and overall optimization of systems.

- Team Leadership & Mentorship: Provide leadership and mentorship to the performance testing team, ensuring skill development, best practices, and a collaborative team environment.

- Stakeholder Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, developers, and project managers to ensure alignment and provide regular updates on performance testing activities, progress, and results.

Required :

- Experience with additional performance testing tools or frameworks beyond LoadRunner (e.g., JMeter, NeoLoad) is a plus.

- Experience with Agile methodologies and working in Agile teams.

- Familiarity with cloud-based testing and performance evaluation in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, etc.).

- Knowledge of web-based security concepts and how they relate to performance testing.
