Performance Test Lead - JMeter/LoadRunner (6-12 yrs)

Position Description :

Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Performance Test Lead. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in performance testing, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead a team to ensure the optimal performance of our applications and systems.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and execute comprehensive performance test plans and strategies.

- Design, script, and execute performance test scenarios using tools such as LoadRunner, JMeter, or similar.

- Monitor and analyze server resources and application performance during tests.

- Identify performance bottlenecks and provide recommendations for performance improvements.

- Collaborate with development, operations, and QA teams to ensure performance requirements are met.

- Prepare detailed test reports and present findings to senior management.

- Mentor and guide junior performance testers.

- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in performance testing.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

- 6-10 years of experience in performance testing and engineering.

- Proficiency in performance testing tools (e.g., LoadRunner, JMeter).

- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Java, JavaScript, or Python.

- Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, or similar.

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Certifications in performance testing or related areas.

- Experience with cloud-based performance testing.

- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and integration of performance tests.
