Mphasis - Java Software Engineer - Spring Boot/MVC (4-6 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Java applications using Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and other related frameworks.

- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code.

- Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues.

- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.

- Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Java technologies and industry best practices.

- Contribute to the improvement of our development processes and tools.

Qualifications :

- 4-6 years of professional experience in Java development.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.

- Experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and other Spring frameworks.

- Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and SQL.

- Experience with RESTful web services and APIs.

- Experience with version control systems (Git).

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).

Bonus Points :

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

- Experience with NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Cassandra).

- Experience with microservices architecture.

- Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
