Who are we looking for?

Taking care of Business IT role for some of the strategic account of Mphasis acting as a Single Point of Contact for aligned businesses for all the IT requirements.

Business IT offerings.

1. Business IT Technology support
1. Acts as a Single Point of Contact for aligned businesses for all the IT requirements.
2. Engage strict change management procedures (Documentation & end to end implementation).
3. Works closely with all the internal departments and ensures that they understand customers requirements and respond with the right quality of service.
4. Coordinates with the technical support teams to provide customer with the different services they need for their daily work including solution design, implementation, training and user support.
5. Ensures IT SLA adherence for the respective businesses. Since, the Business IT SPOC owns the overall account management, he/she is responsible for ensuring that all the issues are resolved and new implementations are done within the agreed timelines to avoid any major production impact.
6. Identifies re-occurring issues and works with technology teams to eliminate those.
7. Monitors Sev1/Sev2 incidents to identify any recurring issues and may recommend changes to the environment as well as identify opportunities to modify or upgrade service so that they effectively meet customers needs.
2. Audit and Compliance
1. Ensures adherence to all Security and Quality Audit Compliances of Mphasis and Client.
2. Participates in the internal and external audits. (Audit evidence sharing, closing audit observations etc.)
3. Regular compliance checks done with the help of the required vertical team and close in case for any non-compliances.
3. DR/BCP/FO requirement and test
1. Ensures DR and BCP setup is up and running and tested as per the business requirement.
2. Performs the failover testing of the infra devices/links to ensure the backup devices are running as per the standard.
3. Design change / permanent fix for unsuccessful DR/BCP/FO - team works with the respective verticals to get the required change implemented.
4. Project Requirement - Ramp-up/Ramp-down/Enhancements
1. Manages technology implementation projects for the current business for all the ramp-up/ramp-down.
2. Coordinates with respective business teams, IT Services teams, vendors and wherever necessary with client technology teams to ensure that projects are implemented in a planned manner & ensure daily operations runs smoothly.
3. Coordinates with other enabling units for software licenses, procurement and delivery of new devices.
4. Analyzes customers’ tech requirements and identify areas to offer improved service or reduce support costs.
5. Project IT cost allocation
1. Ensures IT initiatives are met in a timely manner and within the prescribed budget.

6. Project documentation
1. Prepares and maintains complete IT documentation for the specified accounts.
2. Continuous interaction with businesses to have complete knowledge on how the projects function, so that technology enhancements can be suggested as per best industry practice.
7. Connect with Delivery/Client Technology teams
1. Holds regular review meetings with customers to discuss any issues/problems/improvement areas and work towards closing those.
2. Build and maintain relationship with all Business Delivery / CIO Teams.
