Regional Sales Manager South Region (Cosmetics/Personal Care Products)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Regional Sales Manager to oversee and drive the sales operations for our cosmetics and personal care product line across the South Region. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing regional sales teams, devising sales strategies, and achieving revenue targets while fostering strong client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sales Strategy and Planning:
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to the South Region market.
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to identify new growth opportunities.
• Set and achieve regional sales targets in alignment with overall business objectives.

• Team Leadership and Management:
• Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing regional sales team.
• Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
• Motivate and guide the team to meet individual and collective sales goals.

• Client Relationship Management:
• Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and channel partners.
• Address customer needs, resolve issues, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profit margins.

• Operational Excellence:
• Monitor sales operations and ensure compliance with company policies and guidelines.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to execute promotional campaigns and events in the region.
• Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and market insights to senior management.

• Market Expansion:
• Identify potential markets and expand the distribution network in the South Region.
• Introduce new products to the market and ensure successful launches.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.

• Experience:
• Minimum of 7-10 years of sales experience in the cosmetics, personal care, or FMCG industry.
• Proven track record in managing sales operations for the South Region (Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala).
• Experience in managing distributor networks and direct sales teams.

• Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal abilities.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market trends.
• Proficiency in MS Office; familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
