Key Responsibilities
Communication Liaison: Serve as a vital link between the executive team and staff, ensuring clear communication and information relay. Attend board meetings and provide a comprehensive view of productivity to executives and stakeholders, subsequently disseminating pertinent information to department heads.
Consultation: Analyze company data to provide insights into productivity and operational efficiency. Suggest strategic initiatives to enhance workflow, teamwork, and budget management.
Performance Measurement: Develop and implement performance indicators for the company, and report these metrics to the Management Team.
Operational Oversight: Manage daily action items from the Executive Office, including project coordination and business administration in collaboration with department leaders.
Task Prioritization: Assist the CEO with scheduling and prioritizing tasks, including meeting and travel arrangements, which may be delegated to an executive assistant.
Problem Solving: Identify and address employee issues, providing workable solutions and communicating essential details to the executive team and board.
Project Management: Assess and facilitate new initiatives or special projects launched by the CEO or board members, overseeing these projects to successful completion.
Strategy Development: Work closely with executive team members to define and prioritize business strategies, providing recommendations and consultation to improve teamwork and operational efficiency.
Meeting and Workshop Coordination: Plan, coordinate, and lead meetings and workshops, ensuring focus and productivity.
Tactical Support: Provide hands-on support to implement strategic ideas and monitor the progress towards company goals.
Business Initiative Oversight: Oversee strategic business initiatives from conception to implementation, identifying and resolving core business process issues.
Risk Assessment: Evaluate risks associated with business decisions, providing insightful analysis to the Chief Executive and senior leaders.
Special Projects and Initiatives: Offer support and oversight for special projects, ensuring alignment with company goals and values.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a similar role or senior management position.
Strong analytical skills and experience in data-driven decision making.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and lead projects.
Adept at problem-solving and critical thinking.
Experience in strategic planning and business development.
Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA preferred.
