About the job Chief of Staff

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief of Staff to join a leading organization. This individual will play a pivotal role in executing the Presidents vision and ensuring strategic initiatives are implemented effectively. The role requires a mix of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and strong interpersonal skills to ensure smooth execution across various functional areas.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, management, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, or senior operations roles.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects and drive organizational priorities.
  • Exceptional organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and inspire teams.
  • Proficient with MS Office and AI tools for efficiency and productivity.
  • High adaptability and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Alignment:

  • Assist the President in developing and refining the companys strategic direction, ensuring alignment with government policies and priorities.
  • Ensure that all initiatives, projects, and partnerships align with the companys mission to deliver impactful skilling programs.
  • Act as a thought partner to the President, offering insights on trends in skill development and policy.

Program Management and Execution:

  • Oversee the implementation of education projects, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to agreed standards and expectations from government and clients.
  • Troubleshoot operational bottlenecks and escalate critical issues to the President.

Cross-Functional Coordination:

  • Act as a liaison between the President and various departments (Operations, Marketing, Learning, HR, etc.), ensuring alignment and seamless execution of tasks.
  • Drive collaboration across functional teams to implement skilling programs and establish Centres of Excellence (CoEs) efficiently.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.

Operational Excellence:

  • Prepare briefings, reports, and presentations for internal and external engagements.
  • Identify process improvements to enhance operational efficiency, particularly in setting up and managing CoEs.
  • Develop systems to track progress, measure impact, and report outcomes of skilling initiatives.
  • Lead the development of tools and templates for project management and reporting.

Communications and Reporting:

  • Prepare concise, impactful presentations, proposals, and reports for internal and external audiences, including government bodies.
  • Maintain a consistent flow of information, keeping all stakeholders updated on project developments and outcomes.

Special Projects and Problem-Solving:

  • Take ownership of special projects directed by the President, particularly in new or underdeveloped areas.
  • Act as a crisis manager for urgent or sensitive situations, ensuring swift resolution.

Confidential Advisor:

  • Serve as a trusted confidant to the President, handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Provide honest feedback and ensure that decisions align with long-term goals and ethical standards.
