Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic professional to lead retail sales, trade sales, and channel sales operations in Rajasthan, with a focus on driving significant business volume in the TMT or Grey Cement industry. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the regional market, a proven ability to manage large teams, and extensive experience in handling retail networks and high business volumes.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales & Business Development:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve and exceed sales targets across Rajasthan, covering at least 8-10 districts, including the Jaipur region.
- Strengthen the retail sales network by onboarding, managing, and nurturing channel partners, dealers, and distributors.
- Monitor and optimize trade sales, ensuring efficient supply chain and inventory management to meet demand.
- Drive penetration in untapped markets and ensure consistent business growth across regions.
Market Management:
- Conduct regular market visits to assess channel performance, customer needs, and competitor activities.
- Develop pricing strategies based on market dynamics, competitor analysis, and business goals.
- Build strong relationships with dealers, retailers, and key stakeholders to enhance brand loyalty and market share.
Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a large sales team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Set clear KPIs and performance targets for team members and provide regular feedback and guidance.
- Develop training programs to enhance the team's product knowledge, sales skills, and overall efficiency.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee business operations to ensure seamless execution of trade and channel sales activities.
- Monitor credit limits, payment cycles, and dealer/distributor profitability to maintain healthy business relationships.
- Collaborate with supply chain, marketing, and finance teams to ensure smooth operations.
Strategic Planning & Reporting:
- Analyze sales data to prepare periodic reports, forecasts, and business strategies for senior leadership.
- Identify new business opportunities, assess risks, and implement corrective measures to meet organizational goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations in all sales and marketing activities.
Key Requirements:
Experience:
- Minimum 18 years in sales, marketing, or business development in the TMT or Grey Cement industry.
- Proven expertise in retail sales, trade sales, and channel sales, specifically in Rajasthan, covering at least 8-10 districts, including Jaipur.
- Extensive experience in handling large business volumes and achieving ambitious sales targets.
- Leadership: Experience working at a minimum of AGM level, managing large teams, and driving team performance.
Age: Maximum 52 years.
Education: Graduate in any discipline (Engineering preferred). MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Sales will be an added advantage.
