ER/IR Lead- Manufacturing
Employee Relations (ER):
- Develop and implement employee relations policies and strategies to promote a positive work environment.
- Address and resolve employee grievances, disputes, and disciplinary actions in compliance with company policies and labor laws.
- Provide expert advice to management and employees on HR policies, workplace conflicts, and legal compliance.
- Conduct investigations related to workplace issues such as harassment, discrimination, and other misconduct allegations.
- Facilitate employee engagement initiatives, focus groups, and surveys to enhance workplace culture.
Industrial Relations (IR):
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with trade unions, work councils, and employee representatives.
- Negotiate collective bargaining agreements and manage union-related activities.
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws, employment regulations, and company policies.
- Represent the company in labor court cases, audits, and regulatory compliance matters.
- Handle disputes related to disciplinary actions, terminations, and retrenchments in adherence to legal frameworks.
Compliance & Policy Implementation:
- Ensure adherence to employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct audits and risk assessments to ensure legal compliance in HR processes.
- Keep abreast of labor law changes and recommend necessary adjustments to company policies.
- Design and conduct training programs for managers and employees on ER/IR best practices.
Stakeholder Management:
- Collaborate with internal HR teams, legal departments, and business leaders to align HR strategies with business goals.
- Act as a liaison between management, employees, and external regulatory bodies.
- Build and maintain relationships with external legal advisors, labor officers, and industry experts.
