BMC ITSM and Discovery Consultant

We are seeking a skilled BMC ITSM (Remedy) and Discovery Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth expertise in BMC Remedy ITSM Suite and BMC Discovery, helping organizations optimize their IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and enhance asset visibility. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, hands-on experience in implementation, configuration, and support, as well as the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement, configure, and support BMC ITSM Suite (Remedy) including Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, and Knowledge Management modules.
• Deploy and configure BMC Discovery to ensure accurate asset discovery and CMDB population.
• Customize workflows, forms, and integrations within BMC Remedy to align with business requirements.
• Conduct health checks, troubleshooting, and performance tuning for BMC ITSM and Discovery applications.
• Integrate BMC ITSM with other enterprise systems, including CMDB, monitoring tools, and third-party applications.
• Assist in designing and implementing ITIL best practices within the organization.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into ITSM solutions.
• Provide training and documentation for end-users and administrators.
• Stay updated with the latest BMC ITSM and Discovery updates, patches, and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with BMC ITSM (Remedy) Suite and BMC Discovery.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL framework and ITSM best practices.
• Proficiency in Remedy AR System, Mid-Tier, and Smart IT.
• Strong expertise in custom development, API integrations, and workflow automation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
