Automation Tester - ServiceNow Testing (4-6 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automation Tester with a strong focus on ServiceNow (ATF) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our ServiceNow platform through comprehensive functional, system integration, and regression testing. You will leverage your expertise in ServiceNow testing, including hands-on experience with Automated Test Framework (ATF), to automate test cases and streamline our testing processes. You'll work closely with developers, product owners, and architects to deliver high-quality, bug-free solutions.

Key Responsibilities :

- Conduct thorough functional, system integration, and regression testing of ServiceNow applications and modules.

- Develop and execute detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on requirements documents.

- Utilize the ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) to automate test cases and improve testing efficiency.

- Perform API testing to validate integrations and data exchange.

- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using ServiceNow ATF.

- Identify opportunities for test automation and implement effective automation strategies.

- Ensure the reliability and maintainability of automated test suites.

- Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

- Document test results and provide clear and concise reports.

- Manage test data and ensure its accuracy and completeness.

- Identify, analyze, and report defects with detailed root-cause analysis.

- Collaborate with developers to resolve defects and ensure timely bug fixes.

Perform re-testing to validate defect resolutions. :

- Participate in Agile development methodologies and contribute to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Effectively communicate with developers, product owners, and stakeholders.

- Bridge the gap between development and testing teams.

- Hold client discussions during handover, and explain testing results.

- Lead User Acceptance Testing sessions.

- Ensure the overall quality of ServiceNow projects.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.

- Create customer-understandable test case design, and test documentation.

Required Skills & Experience :

- 4+ years of hands-on experience in functional testing.

- Strong experience and knowledge of ServiceNow testing.

- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Automated Test Framework (ATF) is a MUST.

- Experience in writing detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.

- Expertise in functional testing, system integration testing, and regression testing.

- Hands-on experience in API testing.

- Knowledge of Agile development methodology.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent attention to detail.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Experience leading user acceptance testing.
