The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in VOIP testing, API testing, and Selenium automation testing, ensuring the quality and performance of our VOIP-related services and applications.

Key Responsibilities :

1. VOIP Testing : .

- Test and validate VOIP (Voice Over Internet Protocol) applications, protocols, and services to ensure they meet functional and non-functional requirements.

- Perform end-to-end VOIP call testing, including call setup, voice quality, and system response under different network conditions.

- Test different VOIP protocols such as SIP, RTP, and WebRTC, ensuring accurate signaling, media transmission, and call handling.

- Perform load and stress testing on VOIP infrastructure to evaluate performance under high traffic conditions.

2. Automation Testing (Selenium) :

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium for web-based applications, ensuring efficient regression and functional testing.

- Work closely with developers and manual testers to identify test cases suitable for automation and create reusable test scripts.

- Execute automated test scripts, analyze results, and report defects to ensure high-quality releases.

- Integrate Selenium with test frameworks like TestNG or JUnit, and CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing.

3. API Testing :

- Design and execute automated tests for APIs using tools such as Postman, RestAssured, or similar.

- Develop and execute test cases to validate RESTful and SOAP APIs for functional, performance, and security requirements.

- Collaborate with backend developers to ensure APIs meet service-level expectations and support integration needs.

- Analyze and troubleshoot API issues, ensuring smooth integration with VOIP and other system components.

4. Collaboration and Reporting :

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, development, and product teams) to understand system requirements and provide timely feedback.

- Log and track defects using tools like JIRA, ensuring that issues are communicated clearly and addressed promptly.

- Prepare detailed test reports, defect logs, and test summaries for stakeholders, ensuring visibility into testing progress and quality metrics.

5. Continuous Improvement :

- Continuously improve the test automation processes by identifying opportunities to enhance test coverage, efficiency, and effectiveness.

- Stay updated on the latest trends and tools in VOIP technology, automation testing, and API testing to recommend improvements in testing practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience :

- Proven experience in VOIP testing (SIP, RTP, WebRTC, or other VOIP protocols).

- Hands-on experience with API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar.

- Solid experience in Selenium automation testing for web applications.

- Experience in creating and maintaining automated test scripts using Python, or other programming languages.

- Experience with JIRA, TestNG, JUnit, and other test management and CI/CD tools.

Technical Skills :

- Strong knowledge of networking concepts, especially as they relate to VOIP technologies.

- Experience in performance testing and load testing tools (e.g. , JMeter, LoadRunner).

- Experience with SOAP and REST APIs, and understanding of JSON and XML formats.

- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, version control systems (Git), and Docker for test environment setup.

Soft Skills :

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent communication skills for reporting defects, test results, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
