Head of Business Development - Small Molecules

Job Description:
The Head of Business Development for Small Molecules is responsible for identifying, developing, and executing strategic partnerships and opportunities in the small molecule pharmaceuticals segment. They focus on expanding the company’s portfolio and driving revenue growth through business expansion initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement business development strategies for small molecule products.
• Lead negotiations and partnerships with potential clients, partners, and stakeholders.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as R&D, sales, and marketing to align business objectives.
• Manage and oversee business development operations to ensure successful execution.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key industry leaders and clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Science, Chemistry, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• Significant experience in business development within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, particularly in small molecules.
• Strong understanding of drug development, commercialization, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.
