,JobDescription:[Deliver high quality and professional HR expertise to a range of business ventures, work with business venture team to review and develop HR strategies and initiatives to imbibe uniform structure and culture including providing expert HR advice and guidance on a range of scenarios and projects, whilst developing lasting relationships
Develop enterprise level overall HR strategies and guidelines and align individual ventures with the central strategies
The role-holder will partner to deliver on a positive employee relations strategy and create a culture positioning the specific venture as an employer of choice while achieving the best -in -class human efficiencies and effectiveness
Partner with business ventures, taking deep understanding of their HR issues and initiatives, and work to help them resolve them in the best possible way
Evaluate and work on the full portfolio of HR activities of different allocated business ventures including the relevant compliances in terms of labour laws and safety
This would include people strategy and management, performance management, compensation benefits, learning development, employee mobility, frontline and experienced recruitment, innovation in people management and implementation of HR systems among others
Diagnose business problems, define desired business outcomes and plan effective project plans to support the delivery of business outcomes outlined
Advise and consult business ventures on defining their Employee Value Proposition (EVP) and drafting their People Strategy in line with it
Create templates/ documents etc
to support the employee lifecycle (offer letters, employment contracts, job descriptions, confirmation letters etc
) ensure that HR processes run smoothly/ efficiently
Draft employee handbooks and policies to ensure that the business venture is up to date with current employment legislation and internal changes
Design, implement, and manage leadership development, mentoring and define talent management strategies
Help institutionalize processes and tools for talent reviews and succession planning
Partner with internal and/or external subject matter experts to develop instructionally sound and high-quality learning solutions that deliver impact
Develop processes to Monitor, evaluate and analyse training needs, organising training and evaluate training programs effectiveness, success, and ROI
Champion the development of high potentials and high performers by follow through on developmental action plans to provide for business continuity growth
Analyse workforce trends and formulate insights recommendations to inform workforce strategy development
Advocate and champion, the HR delivery model and lead automation efforts including identifying partners technology
Create and design plans for applying new techniques for driving change in HR processes and champion the transition
Identify and partner with external vendors and manage budget and vendor agreements
Leverage enterprise level scale to engage best partners at competitive costs and make them available to business ventures
Advise/ manage complex grievance and disciplinary investigations and other employee relations cases
