t demand/supply/capacity planning, cost optimisation, quality improvement, vendor development, contracting, sourcing, packaging, inventory management, import/export and distribution strategies
Leverage domain expertise, digital capabilities and key performance indicators to enable business venture teams to achieve seamless delivery and build sustainability into supply chains
Evaluate logistical processes in the business ventures to determine strengths, weaknesses, risks and opportunities
Understand the Supply Chain Planning business issues and IT architecture of specific business venture and industry
Collect and analyse data relating to supply chain operations, setup and evaluate performance measurement KPIs and benchmarking processesLeverage industry best practices and existing operation standards to create business venture specific business solutions for logistics and supply Chain improvementsDevelop cost-effective solutions and interventions to optimize logistical efficiency
Streamline the processes of forecasting, inventory management, segmentation, warehouse operations, transportation and network optimization as well as identify new suppliers and partners
Set up the process for selection of, and the negotiation of commercial Supply Agreements with partners and develop monitoring and reporting systems to bring in checks and balances as needed and keep tab on KPIs
Propose and implement Financial Reporting and Budgeting for Supply Chain Team
to ensure timely reporting and budget adherence in accordance with the ventures strategic and operating plans
Optimize communication channels with customers, vendors, and suppliers
Document improvement plans, set deadlines, and monitor progress
Assist with inputs on the Supply Chain org structure, roles responsibilities, incentive plans, training, KPIs among others
Recruit, induct, appraise and work seamlessly as bridge between the business venture operation team and with external subject matter expert Consultants who are onboarded from time to time ensuring smooth delivery of the project within scope, timelines and budgets
