Job Title: Software Management Manager

Job Overview:

The Software Management Manager is responsible for overseeing the selection, implementation, integration, and ongoing management of software solutions within the company. This role involves ensuring that all software systems and align with the business goals, enhance operational efficiency, and meet the needs of the organization

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Strategy & Implementation:
  Lead the strategy for selecting, implementing, and integrating software solutions that improve manufacturing processes. Work closely with various departments (e.g., production, logistics, IT, finance) to understand needs and identify software solutions.
• Project Management:
  Oversee the implementation of software systems, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Coordinate with vendors, internal teams, and third-party providers to manage projects.
• System Optimization & Maintenance:
  Manage the day-to-day operations of critical manufacturing software systems, ensuring that all platforms are performing optimally. Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues as they arise, working with IT and technical teams.
• Customization & Integration:
  Ensure seamless integration of software systems with existing business processes. Oversee software customizations to meet specific operational needs in the manufacturing environment.
• Training & Support:
  Develop training programs for staff on how to use software systems effectively. Provide ongoing support and guidance to users, ensuring they are able to maximize the softwares capabilities.
• Vendor Management:
  Manage relationships with software vendors, ensuring timely updates, technical support, and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs). Evaluate and negotiate software contracts and licenses.
• Data Management & Analytics:
  Oversee data management within software systems, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and security. Develop reporting tools and dashboards that provide actionable insights into production performance, inventory management, and other key metrics.
• Process Improvement:
  Identify opportunities for process automation, efficiency, and cost savings through software. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to continuously improve the usage of software in support of manufacturing goals.
• Compliance & Security:
  Ensure all software solutions meet industry standards, regulatory requirements, and internal security protocols. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance.
• Team Leadership & Collaboration:
  Lead a team of software developers, analysts, and IT staff. Foster a collaborative environment and ensure the team has the resources and training needed to succeed.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 4 years of experience managing software systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of SAP, and other software solutions.
• Experience with system integrations and data management within a manufacturing context.
• Strong project management skills, with experience managing large software implementation projects.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with Agile or similar project management methodologies is a plus.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and operations .
