Experience: 15+ years of experience in a senior operational leadership role, ideally in a Gaming Technology company (Looking for Candidates only from Gaming Industry).
Preferred Skills & Criteria:
- 12-15+ years of experience in a senior operational leadership role, ideally in a gaming, tech, or entertainment company.
- Proven track record of delivering operational excellence and business results in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.
- High emotional intelligence (EQ) with the ability to manage diverse teams, stakeholders, and relationships effectively.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with an ability to translate vision into actionable results.
- A deep understanding of the gaming industry, with the ability to stay ahead of trends and identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with P&L management, business forecasting, and driving operational efficiencies.
- Familiarity with international markets and cross-border operations is a plus.
Role Overview:
The COO will be responsible for overseeing the operational functions across all of Organization's subsidiaries, driving efficiency, accountability, and execution of our strategic goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the gaming business, a proven track record in operations management, and the ability to lead diverse teams across different functions and markets. This individual must also possess high emotional intelligence (EQ) and the ability to navigate complex relationships both within and outside the company.
Role & Responsibilities:
1. Operational Leadership:
- Work closely with the CEO and other senior executives to define, monitor, and drive the execution of the company's annual goals and objectives.
- Ensure alignment and effective implementation of Company's AOP across all subsidiaries.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring high standards of performance and delivery across all units.
- Act as a key leader in strategy discussions, operational planning, and decision-making.
2. Subsidiary Oversight & Coordination:
- Collaborate with the leadership of various subsidiaries to ensure their operational plans are aligned with Companys vision and objectives.
- Support and hold accountable the senior management teams of the subsidiaries to deliver key business results.
- Provide strategic guidance and operational support to subsidiaries, ensuring alignment with corporate policies and key performance metrics.
3. Operational Excellence & Efficiency:
- Identify opportunities for cost-saving, process improvements, and efficiency gains across all operations.
- Develop and implement operational processes and systems that enable scalability and improve productivity.
- Ensure that all operational units adhere to compliance, risk management, and governance standards.
4. Business Insights & Gaming Knowledge:
- Leverage a deep understanding of the gaming business to provide valuable insights to subsidiary teams, helping them optimize operations and improve business outcomes.
- Identify emerging trends and best practices in gaming and integrate them into the operational strategy.
- Use data-driven insights to drive decision-making and provide real-time feedback to teams.
5. Leadership & Team Development:
- Lead by example and build a positive, collaborative culture across Companys subsidiaries.
- Mentor and develop senior managers and other key operational leaders within the organization.
- Promote a culture of accountability, high performance, and emotional intelligence (EQ) at all levels.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with other functions such as finance, marketing, legal, and HR to ensure seamless execution of strategies.
- Act as a liaison between operational teams and other key stakeholders (including investors, partners, and key customers).
7. Reporting & Performance Monitoring:
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress against AOP targets and ensure timely adjustments as necessary.
- Regularly report on operational performance to the CEO and Board, including recommendations for improvements and course corrections.
- Maintain transparency and effective communication across teams and stakeholders.
