Job Title: HRBP (Manager/Sr. Manager)
Location: Hinjewadi phase 1, Pune

We are looking for an experienced professional who desires the challenge of a new business and the excitement of building something from the ground up. The goal is to align, lead and anchor HR initiatives critical to developing Matter as a world class organization. We prefer someone who not only lives & breaths human resources but also understands the fast-paced business environment that a young company like Matter has to operate in. You have a passion for people, leading teams, love collaborating with others, and isn't afraid to roll-up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to get the job done and produce results.
What you will own and do:
- Act as a strategic partner to business. Create a result-oriented organization that is able to adapt quickly.
- Drive work place engagement & retention initiatives, leading employee relation function and actively resolving complex employee relation issues.
- Drive capability development initiatives - launching programs to build knowledge-based team.
- Support HR Operations excellence to improve employee engagement & satisfaction.
What you will bring to us:
- Experience in managing HR interface with knowledge driven teams.
- Experience in workforce planning to ensure that the organization has the right talent in place to achieve its goals and participate in the selection process.
- Act as liaison between management and employees, handling employees' relations issues and ensuring a positive work environment.
- Experience in guiding and supporting to managers on employee performance issues, conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Good understanding of developing & implementing a competency framework in line with business objectives
- Experience in implementing Performance Appraisal systems e.g. - Balanced Score Card system, KRA based management by objective method, Competency based review method, Bell curve method etc.
- Experience in conceptualizing & execution of various reward programs that helps in maintaining employee's motivation at work & improve productivity.
- Experience in collaborating with leadership teams to identify and implement individual development plans for high-potential employees for key roles. To ensure the organization has strong succession planning resources in place.
- Experience of strategic, change management initiatives will be an added advantage.
- Believes in leading by example to encourage respect and civility.
- Ability to understand a sense of urgency and to quickly adapt and adjust to a changing environment.
Qualifications:
- MBA in HR Management from a recognized Business school is preferred.
- 8 to 13 years of experience with at least 2-4 years in fast paced industry.
- Experience in IT, Software industry is preferred.
- Bonus points for cross-cultural experience.
